Official Poster 'Encarna'

Art Direction and Graphic Design
For Encarna, we started by meeting with the producer and the director to understand what they wanted to convey and what feeling should accompany the viewer even before seeing the film.
From that conversation, we developed different visual proposals, exploring various ways of representing the story. Some focused on photography; others made the title itself the main narrative element.
The typographic research was an essential part of the process. We explored handwritten strokes inspired by an elderly person's handwriting, compositions that conveyed fragility, and small graphic details that referenced key plot elements, such as fireworks.
The final poster was the result of that joint exploration: an image capable of synthesizing the tone, sensibility, and identity of the film.
